PromptOps Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the PromptOps iOS application provided by RiteUpAI ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using PromptOps, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PromptOps on devices you own or control, subject to the App Store's standard end-user license agreement.

Bring your own key

PromptOps is a "bring your own key" client. You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining your own API keys or accounts with AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, and any other provider you configure)
  • Any charges those providers bill you for your usage
  • Complying with the terms of service of every provider you connect to
  • Keeping your API keys, GitHub tokens, and other credentials secure

We do not manage, supply, subsidize, or proxy provider access. We have no insight into and no control over what those providers do with prompts you send them.

Acceptable use

You may not use PromptOps to:

  • Generate content that violates the law in any jurisdiction where you live, where the recipient is located, or where the AI provider operates
  • Generate content that violates the terms of service of any AI provider you use
  • Infringe intellectual property, harass, defraud, or harm others
  • Attempt to compromise the security or integrity of the app, any service it connects to, or any third party

You are solely responsible for the prompts you write, the outputs you generate, and how you use them.

No warranty

PromptOps is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with future versions of iOS or any third-party service.

AI provider responses may be inaccurate, biased, fabricated, or otherwise harmful. You are solely responsible for evaluating the suitability of any output before relying on it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RiteUpAI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or costs incurred from third-party providers, arising from your use of or inability to use PromptOps. Our total liability to you for any claim relating to PromptOps will not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim, or, if you paid nothing, ten US dollars.

Your data

PromptOps stores everything you create on your device. We do not back it up for you. Use the export and sync features to maintain your own backups. We are not responsible for data loss caused by device failure, OS upgrades, app uninstalls, sync errors, or third-party service outages.

Termination

You may stop using PromptOps at any time by deleting it from your device. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue PromptOps, in whole or in part, at any time and without notice.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of PromptOps after the "Last updated" date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina unless otherwise required by applicable law.
