Common questions

Why does it say "approx." next to the city?

Location access is off, so abLunar shows the Moon for a default location (Cupertino). Turn it on in Settings › Apps › abLunar › Location › While Using, or choose a city with abLunar Pro (··· › Location…).

The times look wrong for another city.

abLunar shows times in the time zone of the place you're viewing. A label such as "GMT+9" appears when it differs from your phone's.

How do I restore my Pro subscription?

Open ··· › abLunar Pro and tap Restore. Pro is shared with your Family Sharing group.

How do I cancel?

Open ··· › abLunar Pro · Active › Manage, or go to Settings › your name › Subscriptions.

Add to Calendar didn't add anything.

abLunar needs permission to add events. Check Settings › Apps › abLunar › Calendars. Events you've added before aren't added twice; use "Add again" if you deleted them. To use a different calendar, choose "Share calendar file (.ics)".

"This photo doesn't say when it was taken."

Screenshots and some edited or downloaded images have no capture date. Try the original photo.

How do I change a widget's countdown?

Long-press the Moon Countdown widget › Edit Widget › Focus.

Alerts don't arrive.

Check that notifications are allowed (Settings › Notifications › abLunar) and that Background App Refresh is on.
