Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PrivacyGuard ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Use License

RiteUpAI grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use PrivacyGuard for personal or professional purposes in accordance with these terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

Subscriptions

PrivacyGuard offers a free tier with limited daily scans and a Pro subscription that unlocks unlimited scans, file scanning, encryption tools, and all premium features.

  • Monthly Plan: $9.99/month

  • Annual Plan: $79.99/year

  • Free Trial: 7-day free trial available for new subscribers

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Free Tier Limitations

The free tier allows up to 10 scans per calendar day. Scan counts reset at midnight. Certain features, including file scanning, iMessage scanning, encryption redaction, and export, require a Pro subscription.

On-Device Processing

All scanning, analysis, and redaction performed by PrivacyGuard occurs entirely on your device. The App makes no network connections and transmits no data to any server. You retain full ownership and control of all content you process with the App.

Accuracy Disclaimer

PrivacyGuard uses pattern matching, regular expressions, natural language processing, and SIMD-accelerated scanning to detect personally identifiable information. While the App strives for accuracy, no automated system can guarantee 100% detection of all PII in all contexts. You should review redacted output before sharing sensitive documents.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RiteUpAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the App.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
